The study was carried out with the interest of investigate beef cattle production system. A baseline survey conducted on in Bangladesh from two districts each division. to up-date knowledge state fatteners their own environment. findings revealed that major (90%) Rajshahi division started fattening using money, followed by 50%, 40%, 50% and 55% Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet Rangpur, respectively. average size (4.93) livestock holding per farm Barishal considerably higher than Dhaka (4.35), Khulna (4.71), (3.83), Chattogram (3.35), (4.29) Rangpur (3.69), In area, (2.14, 2.63 2.77) indigenous respectively lower those (3.47, 3.27, 3.40 3.93) Rajshahi, division, duration (18.6 month) program (11.6 Majority farmers semi-intensive feeding amount rice straw/h/d supplied is remarkably (3.57 3.72 kg) (4.38, 4.57, 4.82, 4.32 4.32) Sylhet, concentrates (817.86, 814.71 887.50 g) (758.82, 721.43, 772.22 739.71 conclusion, there were differences demographic information, source capitals for fattening, herd size, system among divisions Bangladesh.
